Does anybody else have security guards at their library, or do I just live in a really rough neighborhood?

Well my high school was full of security guards.. I wouldn't be shocked if a library does
Wow. Nope.
Nope, never seen them in the library. When we lived in Addis Abeba, we had them around our house, though. They were really good at looking after our little girls, playing ball games with them and such.
Hmmmmmm.... no security guards here. I do love J9s comment.
Are the books really valuable? If not, then it's rough.
